We are not on our way to Ethiopia today. We will be staying put for now. The plan is to wait the two weeks until the next available Embassy appointment and go back then. It gives us time to make 100% sure that every piece of paper is in the Embassy Officer's hands when it is time to interview us.
I can do this, I can wait two more weeks. It's just two more weeks. I'm gonna keep telling myself that. Just two more weeks.
To be perfectly honest, it is not the end of the world, I do realize that. It would be really easy for me to get all riled up and throw a fit (and trust me I can throw a MEAN fit!!) and make life hell. But if I look at it logically that would require making my own life hell in the process and I'm not too impressed with that option. It seems to defeat the purpose.
I will just go crawl in bed and watch movies and pretend that two weeks was always the plan...technically....according to God....it was.

Jaclyn,
It's two more weeks to scrubb baseboards, bathrooms and catch up on everything before you go.... Your hands will be joyfully full every minute once you return!
Praying for you,
Tiffany
No fit. I am so proud. It means you are grown up enough to see the bigger picture. Two more weeks and you will have a great boy some where between 18mo. and three years. How crazy is that. Hang in there. We love you and can't waitto kiss chubby cheeks. JOJO
I know it's hard to accept at times, but everything happens for a reason. God knows when the timing is right. You guys are in our thoughts & prayer. Keeping our fingers crossed for the next 2 weeks. Becca & Todd
I'm sure I would be throwing a big fit in my own head! You're being very reasonable. Ha! I'm so sorry you're having to wait...again.
