Ahhhhhh, Sweet Sanity.............

To be perfectly honest, I didn't realize I had been slowly losing my mind until the opportunity to get it back had arrived.
Now that both boys are in school I have time to do all of the things that I had been neglecting. I'm not necessarily enjoying deep cleaning my home but it is way over due. Maybe my Christmas decorations will be put away before February this year!
The boys are doing great. Especially Ben. The difference in his speech was evident in just a few days of school. He loooooves going and he has a couple of new friends that are all his. He doesn't have to share them with Aiden. Ben is more confident and happy.
Aiden avoids him at school because it's not "cool" to talk to first graders and that bums me out but I realize that Aiden is just trying to fit in. And he gets to be more of an older brother now. It makes him feel better about himself and the age situation.
Our evenings are much more pleasant since the boys have had time to miss each other during the day. They have become more affectionate to each other and more tolerant of each other.
It's nice. I'm happy, Jeff is happy and the boys are happy and now my sanity is slowly creeping back. What little I had to begin with, anyway!
