When I told Jeff about the horrors of our last coffee ceremony he suggested that he help this time. This is what I came outside to find this morning:
That is my husband using the base of a TURKEY FRIER and PROPANE to roast coffee beans! Uhhh! But it worked. We still used our regular coffee maker so that it didn't take as long but it was ZELICIOUS, as Ben says. Here is a pic of my neighbor Carla gawking at our redneckness:
She actually reversed her car down our alley to come back and see what the heck we were doing!
